LEGOLAND Florida Dining Guide: A Bricktastic Culinary Adventure for Families

LEGOLAND Florida has all of the building blocks for crafting the perfect day – and that includes snacks and meals! With flavors to satisfy every craving, everyone in the family can find something to munch on at the theme park and the LEGOLAND hotel and waterpark.

We’ll be covering each LEGOLAND Florida dining option so you can plan ahead for a bricktastic breakfast, lunch, or dinner at any LEGOLAND property!

LEGOLAND Florida Dining

The restaurants and quick service eateries across LEGOLAND Florida offer a wide variety of entrees, treats, and drinks. From classics like cheeseburgers and pizza to less traditional theme park fare like Cuban-style spring rolls, there’s something for every age and appetite!

Dining at LEGOLAND Florida with dietary concerns or restrictions? No problem! They have an online dietary guide with everything you need to know about each location. Most LEGOLAND Florida dining options have vegetarian and/or vegan alternatives, as well as gluten-free and dairy-free options!

Like most amusement parks, prices for LEGOLAND food and drink can be a little expensive. We suggest budgeting around $15.00 per entree, with snack foods/desserts ranging closer to $8.00 – $10.00 per item. Drinks average right around $4.50. If you’re looking to dine at LEGOLAND Florida without breaking the bank, we’d suggest bringing your own bottled water into the park (which is in accordance with park rules) and save that cash for some funnel cake or turkey legs!

Now, let’s take a look at those mouthwatering menus…

Theme Park Eats

The LEGOLAND theme park has over a dozen locations where you can grab a bite to eat. Mostly quick service in nature, many of these eateries still offer seating, and there are also carts offering popcorn and novelty drinks scattered across the park (weather permitting).

Burger Kitchen

This LEGOLAND restaurant is serving up a classic: cheeseburgers! Choose a double cheeseburger, BBQ bacon smokehouse burger, or beyond burger, and know that each patty is frame-broiled to perfection. Chicken tenders are also available at this location for poultry lovers, though you may want to hold out for the next location if you like drumsticks…

Dragon’s Den

Enjoy the taste of medieval times with a great big turkey leg! Located next to The Dragon coaster, this grab-and-go eatery also has foot-long hotdogs, loaded fries, honey-battered mini corndogs, and even locally brewed craft beer. The Renaissance has never tasted so good!

Firehouse Ice Cream

Themed after a LEGO firehouse, this grab-and-go location will quench your thirst and help you cool down on those hot Florida days. Serving up hand-dipped cones, floats, and sundaes, the firehouse crew is ready to customize your order with your choice of ice cream flavors, soft drinks, and toppings. I want cheesecake pieces with extra hot fudge, please!

Fun Town Pizza & Pasta Buffet

All-you-can-eat Italian food? Yes, please! Perhaps one of the most filling LEGOLAND Florida restaurants, this buffet-style location has pant-loads of pizza and steaming hot pasta. While the classic toppings like cheese and pepperoni are great, the real showstopper here is the dessert pizza. Forget the marinara – chocolate sauce is where it’s at!

Fun Town Treats

A grab-and-go slushie station, Fun Town Treats has a delicious line-up of flavors, but you’re also welcome to create your own icy combination! When you purchase a slush here, refills for the rest of the day are discounted. If it’s a scorcher and you love slushies, you’ll want to stop here early when visiting LEGOLAND Florida!

Funnel Cake Factory

An iconic sweet for any amusement park, funnel cakes are also integral to the LEGOLAND Florida dining experience. These hot and fresh, made-to-order cakes are topped with your choice of apple pie, cookies, and cream, or strawberry cheesecake fixings! You can also get an old-fashioned funnel cake topped with nothing but a mountain of powdered sugar; happiness in its purest form. Funnel cake connoisseurs will agree that LEGOLAND’s take on the fried dessert is truly decadent and well worth the splurge!

Granny’s Apple Fries

If you only try one thing while dining at LEGOLAND Florida, let it be the apple fries. These French fry-sized apple sticks are a wonderful consistency that’s both crunchy and squishy – a bit like regular French fries! However, they’re definitely on the dessert end of the spectrum as they come dusted in cinnamon and sugar and are served with a side of whipped cream sauce for dipping. You can also get them with vanilla soft-serve ice cream!

Heartlake Ice Cream Parlor

Another sweet stop in LEGOLAND Florida, the Heartlake Ice Cream Parlor serves up creamy milkshakes that come in novelty flavors like s’mores, tiramisu, and birthday cake! (Which you are allowed to order even if it’s not your birthday.) Other handheld novelties include ice cream sandwiches, bomb pops (hello, nostalgia!), and a cotton candy cup.

Kick’n Chicken Co.

The LEGOLAND version of Chikfila, the Kick’n Chicken Co. has hot, hand-breaded chicken tenders and chicken sandwiches (breaded or grilled). If you want to keep things light, grab a mixed green salad and add in some meaty morsels for good measure! Not eating meat? No problem – vegan tenders are also hot, fresh, and ready to be served!

Kingdom Cones

MORE ice cream?? Absolutely! Kingdom Cones is keeping things tried and true with creamy soft serve piled high in waffle cones, although you can get adventurous with the add-in “flavor bursts.”

Pepper & Roni’s Pizza Stop

Are you in a hurry but still craving something cheesy? Pepper & Roni’s Pizza Stop will get you back on the go in a jiffy – and with a slice of pizza in hand! This grab-and-go LEGOLAND Florida dining location has personal-sized cheese, pepperoni, and veggie pizzas for families who need a snack but also really need to get in line for the LEGO Movie Masters of Flight ride! (If you do have time, then we would recommend sitting down at the Fun Town Pizza & Pasta Buffet for an Italian fix – mainly to get that oh-so-sweet dessert pizza!)

Ninja Kitchen Food Truck

Fans of Ninjago will want to stop here and replenish their energy with some amazing Asian-inspired bites. (You’ll need that energy for performing Spinjitzu!) The menu includes yummy traditional egg rolls stuffed with your choice of pork or veggies, served with sweet chili sauce for dipping. You can also get “super fancy” spring rolls chock full of roasted pork, ham, swiss cheese, and pickles! And it’s hard to go wrong with potstickers, filled with your choice of pork or chicken and served with a tangy citrus soy sauce. The Ninjago Kitchen Food Truck has also been known to serve deliciously steamed bao buns with a variety of fillings!

Taco Everyday

Tuesdays just aren’t enough. EVERY day is a taco day! That’s the motto of this grab-and-go establishment whose mission is to provide scrumptious tacos to the LEGOLAND masses. While we love Taco Bell as much as the next person, we will say Taco Everyday’s California street tacos are definitely a delicious step up from what you get in the drive-thru! Flavors range from complex to classic, so kiddos and adults alike will love these tacos. They even come with pink and blue shells – Unikitty colors! – if so desired.

Ultimate Sandwich Builder

Head to LEGOLAND’s Land of Adventure to find the Ultimate Sandwich Builder food truck. I know sandwiches probably sound a bit blasé compared to dessert pizza and turkey legs, but have you ever had a sandwich full of mac n cheese?! Well, now you can! (And on King’s Grilled Hawaiian bread, no less!) If that sounds a little too crazy, you can opt to eat mac n cheese out of a bowl like a normal person – although it’s still adventurously paired with toppings of BBQ beef brisket and crispy onions. The beef brisket and caprese sandwiches are closer to your Panera-style fare but still pack a delicious punch of flavor that turns “sandwich” into a byword for “gourmet.”

Deli Takeover

If the Ultimate Sandwich Builder is taking sandwiches past your comfort zone (or you just find yourself starving in the Imagination Zone area of the park), then Deli Takeover is a yummy alternative. Get a classic sub like ham and cheese or chicken and pesto, or go for a hot-pressed panini with options like turkey bacon chipotle and roasted tomato-mozzarella. There’s also a selection of salads here, including the refreshing sesame-ginger chicken salad, Ceasar salad, and chicken bacon bleu salad.

The LEGOLAND Coffee Co.

While visiting LEGOLAND Florida is undeniably fun, walking around a theme park can also put you in the market for a pick-me-up! Thankfully, the LEGOLAND Coffee Co. is here to meet your caffeine needs. Sip on a flash-chilled iced coffee, try out seasonal flavors, or grab something for breakfast like tavern ham, swiss, and egg croissant sandwiches, a sundried tomato and spinach frittata wrap, or a triple-smoked bacon quiche cup! It’s a great way to jump-start your day so you can enthusiastically say, “Everything is awesome!”

Water Park Treats

Of course, the theme park has dining options, but what if you’re visiting LEGOLAND Florida Resort Water Park?? The world of LEGO is all about playing hard and having fun, and they know nothing works up an appetite quite like splashing around. That’s why there are two restaurants where you can drip-dry while munching on something delicious.

Beach Street Tacos

As we said, every day is a taco day! That’s why even the water park has this muy delicioso eatery with cantina-style tacos, each served with a heaping side of refried beans and Mexican rice. Fillings include barbacoa, carnitas, ground beef, or plant-based chorizo, along with garden-fresh toppings like lettuce and tomato. Don’t forget to grab a churro for dessert – at Beach Street Tacos, these tasty twists come with decadent chocolate sauce for dipping!

Beach-n-Brick Grill

For American fare, head to the Beach-n-Brick Grill. Here, they serve up typical (but tasty!) selections like hot dogs, chicken tenders, cheeseburgers, and even beyond burgers. All combos come with a side of salted-to-perfection fries. There are also light snacks, like nachos (with salsa and cheese), soft pretzels, and ice cream bars.

Hotel Feasts

The most notable LEGOLAND Florida dining experiences are on the hotel properties, Pirate Island, LEGOLAND Hotel, and the Beach Retreat bungalows. There are four different restaurants and one quick-service kitchen, as well as a family-style breakfast at each hotel! (Breakfast is included as part of a hotel stay.)

Reservations are required for both Shipwreck Restaurant and Skyline Lounge, but Bricks and Sandy’s Castle Restaurant are open on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Each of the hotel restaurants offers a unique dining experience. Let’s taste-test all of them!

Family Style Breakfast Buffet

Even though the complimentary all-you-can-eat breakfasts are served by different restaurants, the fare is pretty much the same. Guests can grab breakfast at Bricks (LEGOLAND Hotel), Shipwreck Restaurant (Pirate Island), or Sandy’s Castle Restaurant (Beach Retreat).

At each location, your meal will be served family-style, consisting of traditional breakfast items, fresh fruits, cereal, and ever-important coffee. Vegan and vegetarian options are available!

Bricks

Bricks has a bit of everything for everyone! This all-you-care-to-enjoy buffet is open from 5 to 8 pm. (Note: As of September 17, 2023, Bricks is undergoing a temporary closure after breakfast hours. During this time, guests are invited to dine at Shipwreck Restaurant instead.)

If you have picky eaters in the family, or no one can decide on what to have, Bricks is the perfect option! They have build your own pasta with a variety of sauces and toppings, customizable salads, a taco station (with pork, chicken, and fajita veggies), an Asian station (rice, noodles, sweet and sour tempura chicken, and vegetable egg rolls), an international station (baked citrus salmon, mashed potatoes, and veggies), a kids station (chicken tenders, mac n cheese, and french fries), as well as assorted cakes, cookies, and ice cream for dessert.

Shipwreck Restaurant

Ahoy, mateys! Shipwreck Restaurant is here with an all-ye-can-feast three-course dinner menu! Start with a mixed green salad tossed with gems like toasted almonds and dried cranberries before tucking it onto a platter big enough for the whole crew! You can choose one of three platters for your family: the pirate platter (BBQ brisket, pulled pork, ribs, rotisserie chicken, and baked beans), the seadog skillet (grilled steak, herb roasted tenderloin, rotisserie chicken, and sauteed shrimp), or the plant-based skillet (plant-based meatloaf, cauliflower steaks, dumplings, and teriyaki tofu).

For dessert, enjoy a mouthwatering chocolate chip cookie skillet with vanilla bean ice cream slathered in chocolate and caramel sauce and sprinkled with bits of crumbled Heath bar. That’s worth all the treasure of Tortuga island!

Skyline Lounge

With its colorful play area, Skyline Lounge will be a favorite for the kiddos, but the lunch and dinner menus will win over the adults, too! We’d say this is probably the “fanciest” of the LEGOLAND Florida restaurants.

Build up to the main course with an appetizer to share, like chicken wings or hot honey-fried shrimp. Entrees differ slightly between lunch and dinner, but salads, the 1/3 pound brickburger, brisket grilled cheese sandwich, fish sandwich, and falafel wrap are always available! The dinner menu becomes more extensive, adding pasta, steak, and curry to the repertoire.

Dessert for both lunch and dinner includes fried apple pie, fried Oreo cookies, and the signature Brickbeard’s Treasure – a warm brownie with a chocolate chip cookie ice cream sandwich, all smothered in chocolate and caramel sauce, whipped cream and sprinkled with toffee pieces.

Grown-ups in the group will also appreciate the Skyline Lounge’s cocktail menu and wide selection of wines and spirits.

Sandy’s Castle Restaurant

An ideal stop for those staying at Beach Retreat, Sandy’s Castle Restaurant is a casual, no-reservations-needed eatery with an a la carte menu. You can even order dinner to go, taking your meal poolside or back to your room!

While Sandy’s does serve lunch (quesadillas, cuban sandwiches, and hamburgers), the menu for dinner has far more variety, including delectable coconut shrimp and tacos stuffed with mahi and mango, grilled steak, or plant based chorizo. Yum!

Bricks Beach Bar

For quick service to go, Bricks Beach Bar has you covered! Order at the window from a full dinner menu, then take your delicacies to the pool or patio area. It’s the most relaxing way to unwind and dine. You can also order a mocktail or cocktail from an extensive drinks list – the perfect complement to a pool day!

There are so many options when it comes to LEGOLAND Florida dining! Whatever flavor you may be craving, they’ve got it! And we love how many allergy-friendly, vegetarian, and vegan options are available, too. With menus that are perfectly tailored for both kids and grown-ups, the question isn’t if you should eat at LEGOLAND. It’s at which restaurant?!

The answer ultimately comes down to what you’re craving, your budget, and where you happen to be on the property when hunger strikes. Hopefully, this guide has given you an idea of what to expect so you can dine strategically and make the most of your day at LEGOLAND!
