Legoland Hotel: The Building Blocks for an Awesome Trip

Most people want their trip to Legoland Resort to be as immersive as possible. There’s something super special about spending the day celebrating creativity at Legoland Florida, then returning to your hotel and still being surrounded by Lego-themed fun! The Lego bubble never has to burst! And that’s what the Legoland Hotel Florida is all about.

Get Ready to Create!

The second you arrive at the Legoland Hotel, you’ll feel yourself swept up in the magic of creativity. The building’s exterior is designed to look like a classic Lego creation, with multicolored pillars constructed from an eclectic mix of Lego bricks big and small. Every inch of the décor and architecture is designed to give you tons of inspiration for your next Lego creation – which is great, because the hotel gives you plenty of chances to get building!

Everything is Awesome Accommodations

Available Legoland Hotel rooms sleep up to 5 and offer a fun choice of themes: Kingdom, Adventure, Pirate, LEGO Friends, or The Lego Movie.

Kingdom rooms boast a hearty medieval theme, with knights in plastic, shining armor. If your favorite builds include catapults, castles, and skeleton minifigs, this theme is definitely for you! (Kingdom Lego sets were my personal favorites, and I may or may not have written a chapter book about my Lego knights in 7th grade. . . )

Fancy building a pyramid? Adventure rooms will take you on an Egyptian excursion down the Nile – watch out for mummies and crocodiles! For adventures of the high seas variety, opt for a swashbuckling Pirate room, perfect for people who prefer building a ship in a bottle!

Sound a little too thrilling? Try a LEGO Friends-themed roomed for the ultimate BFF sleepover, or bunk Lego Movie style so you know everything will be awesome.

If you couldn’t tell, these aren’t your regular hotel rooms. Each one includes a king bed in the adults’ sleeping area and a separate kids’ sleeping area with a pull-out trundle bed, bunk beds, and an entertainment unit.

Kick off your stay with the Welcome Treasure Hunt, then go on an adventure with the daily In-Room Scavenger Hunt for a chance to win a Lego prize. You’ll also find Lego bricks to play with, 2 high-definition flat-panel TVs already loaded with free on-demand content, and the LEGOLAND Times newspaper.

Amenities, Perks, & Onsite Recreation

With free self-parking and a location just 130 kid-steps from Legoland Theme Park, the location and convenience simply can’t be beat.

But your hotel stay is about so much more than convenience! You’ll also be able to enjoy nightly kids’ entertainment, free Lego Master Model Builder workshops, character meet-and-greets, and access to the heated resort-style pool – complete with giant floating Lego bricks!

You can also have a mini dance party in the disco elevator or sink a few balls at the mini-golf course, which is running wild with animals made out of Legos.

For some outdoor fun, take a stroll around the boardwalk and soak up the sunshine and take in the views. Embark on a pontoon boat ride on Lake Eloise, then gather around the fire pit to make a batch of piping hot s’mores – kits are available for purchase at the hotel front desk, so all you need to plan on is having a great time by a roaring fire!

The hotel is always switching up their onsite activities. Ask about recreation activities when you arrive so you can take full advantage of what’s going on during your stay.

Here are some activities you might expect to enjoy:

There’s so much to do at the Legoland Hotel that you might be tempted to stay up all night! However, quiet hours start at 10 pm, so, you should take the opportunity to rest easy and enjoy some peace and quiet after a full day of adventures!

Delicious Dining Options

With a free breakfast buffet served hot every day, the Legoland Hotel makes it easy to enjoy great food during your trip. But the delicious possibilities don’t stop there.

Bricks Restaurant

This all-you-can-eat spot serves up family-style skillets of breakfast classics with a wide range of fare, including vegetarian and vegan options, so every member of your family can start their day off with a great meal. Offerings include fresh fruit, cereal, muffins, coffee, tea, and juices.

Shipwreck Restaurant

You’ll love the fun, vibrant feel of this pirate galley-themed dining room as you dig into an “all-ye-care-to-feast” family-style breakfast. You’ll make your selection from a super cute pirate treasure map-themed menu.

Shipwreck Restaurant also offers 3-course family-style dinner feasts with house-smoked meats and a variety of sides. They even have a full plant-based dinner option.

Shipwreck Restaurant is also right next to Smuggler’s Bar, which serves up a selection of specialty drinks as well as old favorites. As you finish off your meal, you can let the kiddos run around and explore the play area.

Keep in mind that reservations are required for dinner at Shipwreck Restaurant, so plan ahead and book your table as soon as you know your travel dates!

Skyline Lounge

Serving up traditional American food for lunch and dinner alongside a full bar, Skyline Lounge is a must-eat destination during your Legoland Hotel stay! The kids will love the Lego-themed play area, and the adults will love the varied menu and specialty drinks.

Enjoy hearty appetizers like pork rinds with pimento cheese sauce for dipping, smothered potato wedges, and spicy honey-fried shrimp. With a range of soup and salad selections and handhelds like sandwiches, burgers, and wraps, I promise you won’t go hungry.

Oh, and make sure to save room for Brick Bites for dessert! Skyline Lounge even has fried Oreos with dipping sauce if you’re in the mood to truly indulge.

One of our favorite things about the Skyline Lounge is that the menu is fully labeled for plant-based, vegetarian, and gluten-free options, which makes it easy for people with dietary restrictions or preferences to find something delicious to enjoy.

Keep in mind that, like Shipwreck Restaurant, reservations are required for dinner at the Skyline Lounge, so book your table early!

Legoland Hotel Florida is a fantastic way to experience even more Lego fun after a day at Legoland! With cleverly themed rooms, delicious food, and so many ways to play, it’s practically impossible to choose my favorite part of a stay here. But getting complimentary Lego bricks to play with might just be the winner.
