Peppa Pig Theme Park Rides Ranked

All 6 Peppa Pig Theme Park Rides Ranked by Intensity – A Perfect First Theme Park Experience!

British animated children’s show Peppa Pig has only grown in popularity since its debut in 2004 – and so much so that the world’s first Peppa Pig theme park opened in Cypress Gardens, Florida, last year, and it’s just a stone’s throw away from LEGOLAND! Peppa is essentially the second British invasion, right after the Beatles. (My little nephew is developing a British accent. And it’s adorable.)

As this newest addition to Florida’s LEGOLAND resort nears its first birthday, we thought it appropriate to highlight the best part of any theme park – the food!

Oh, whoops, apparently, I was supposed to say “rides.” (But we all know it’s actually food.)

This unique slice of LEGOLAND is geared toward families with younger kiddos, so we’ll be looking at all of the Peppa Pig theme park rides ranked by intensity. Hopefully, our list will help you determine which attractions will be best for you and your little ones to enjoy.

(Spoiler alert: nothing in Peppa Park is too scary!)

Are you ready to have some fun?

Peppa Pig Theme Park Rides Ranked by Intensity

While all of the Peppa Pig attractions have been designed for children to ride (along with their parents), that doesn’t mean they’re laidback or boring. In fact, some rides – like Daddy Pig’s Roller Coaster – have some real pep!

We’ll rank our rides from least intense to most intense, giving you a heads-up on any adrenaline rush that might be a bit much for anxious kiddos or motion-sick-prone tummies.

All in all, the Peppa Pig theme park Florida rides are wonderfully suited to their target audience and are geared toward being a child’s first theme park experience. Kiddos ages 2 to 6 are going to have the most fun here!

Whether via the park or TV screen, Peppa is ready to provide a perfect day of family fun.

6. Peppa’s Pedal Bike Tour and George’s Tricycle Trail

Although Peppa’s Pedal Bike Tour is ranked as our least intense ride, that doesn’t mean it’s not incredibly fun!

With no height requirement, everyone is welcome to hop aboard a colorful tricycle and take to the trail. Zoom through the lush, green woods and around the icy mountains on an oinktastic camping adventure!

Your youngest cyclists can opt for George’s Tricycle Trail, a shorter path with smaller tricycles.

While this ride is technically the most physically intense (as you have to exert your own energy actually to ride), it’s not the most exciting or adrenaline-inducing. Bikes and tricycles are nothing out of the ordinary, and you can’t go faster than you can pedal. Having control over your ride experience is not a bad thing, but in this instance, it probably won’t lend itself to any unexpected thrills.

5. Grampy Rabbit’s Dinosaur Adventure

Hop aboard a dinosaur and ride through prehistoric times!

Kiddos must be at least 34 inches to ride, and those under 47 inches must be accompanied by a responsible rider. Each friendly, green dinosaur is designed to comfortably hold a parent and child so that you can experience the Dinosaur Park together!

Each dino-steed zips along a level, steel track that winds its way around volcanoes, ancient plant life, and other wild dinos. The dinosaur ride vehicles bounce a bit as you sit on them, so the experience is a part train ride, part coin-operated horse ride.

Admittedly, these T-rex don’t reach break-neck speeds, but the essence of bareback riding adds some extra excitement. Each dino has a strap to hold onto if you feel like you might slip off, but kiddos riding with parents or guardians shouldn’t have any fear of taking a tumble.

Although this is part of the Peppa Pig theme park, we like to think of Grampy Rabbit’s Dinosaur Adventure as “Jurassic Park for beginners,” LOL!

4. Grandad Dog’s Pirate Boat Ride

Grandad Dog’s Pirate Boat Ride is where the Peppa Pig rides start to pick up in intensity, as this ride incorporates two distinct and well-defined motions.

That being said, there’s actually no height requirement for this one, which means everyone is welcome to board an adorable little boat and set sail in search of hidden treasure! Your boat will take a lovely lap around the water before coming ashore at Pirate Island. (Each boat is connected to an underwater spoke that moves it along in a circle, while also gently rocking the boat back and forth.)

Kiddos will enjoy the adventurous atmosphere of the ride. Although there is a combined bobbing and circling motion, it should be gentle enough to prevent any serious bouts of seasickness. Nevertheless, if there is one ride that could cause trouble for a tummy, it’s probably this one!

Once you disembark from the ride, you can spend some time playing in the sand on Pirate Island. With shovels and pails aplenty, kids are encouraged to dig for buried treasure as well as construct the coolest sand castles ever!

3. Peppa Pig’s Balloon Ride

Enter the Fun Fair to find this sky-high ride!

Peppa Pig’s balloon ride will take you up, up, and away for a stunning view of the entire Peppa Pig theme park! Riders of any height are welcome to board a hot air balloon basket and soar through the clouds. (Kiddos shorter than 51 inches must be accompanied by a responsible rider.)

This aerial carousel will spin you around in the sky for an exhilarating and beautiful experience! Like your average carousel, Peppa Pig’s balloon ride is pretty tame, but if heights make your kiddo squeamish, you might want to think twice before “flying high in the sky.”

2. Mr. Bull’s High Striker

Another Fun Fair special, Mr. Bull’s High Striker, will send you soaring!

A kid-friendly drop ride, Mr. Bull’s High Striker is modeled after the “test your strength” carnival games. Riders will lift off, skyrocketing toward the bell at the top of the tower. However, what goes up must come down! In fact, the High Striker will bounce you up and down several times, so you really get your money’s worth on this ride.

The sensation of dropping, while relatively slow and smooth on this ride, can still be surprising – especially if this is your kiddo’s first drop ride.

Riders must be at least 34 inches to enjoy the High Striker and must be accompanied by a responsible rider if shorter than 43 inches.

1. Daddy Pig’s Roller Coaster

The most intense ride at Peppa Pig’s theme park is Daddy Pig’s Roller Coaster!

While there are no inversions, corkscrews, or zero to sixty launches, Daddy Pig’s Roller Coaster still provides the ultimate thrills at this theme park. This coaster packs enough pep to get the wind whipping through your hair and has plenty of ups, downs, curves, and turns for an exciting ride experience!

There’s also just an aura about roller coasters that sets them up as the most intimidating ride in the park. However, Daddy Pig’s Roller Coaster is genuinely inviting and fun. Driven by Daddy Pig himself, each coaster segment actually looks like a little red car!

Riders must be 36 inches tall, and those shorter than 42 inches must be accompanied by a responsible rider.

Other Fun Attractions in Peppa Pig Theme Park

If some of the oinktastic Peppa Pig rides on our list, seem a bit intimidating for your own little ones, never fear! There are other activities at the park that don’t involve any high-flying or speedy, red-car driving! (And they still make a trip feel worth it.)

While none of these are particularly intense, we’ll still rank these Peppa Pig theme park attractions based on excitement, starting with the most chill activities and ending with the most exciting. (This could definitely vary depending on what your kiddo is interested in doing – whatever interests them most is ultimately the most exciting thing!)

Time to Chill Out.

Need a break from walking around the park? Head to the indoor Cinema and flop onto some super squishy beanbags! Favorite episodes of Peppa Pig are constantly airing on the big screen, making for a relaxing yet entertaining area to unwind.

If you don’t feel like sitting but still want to tap the breaks, try a leisurely walk along Madame Gazelle’s Nature Trail. Search for tiny footprints along the way to discover what other creatures have traveled the path before you!

Another slower activity is navigating the maze around George’s Fort. What’s that strange croaking sound? Is there a frog nearby? Find your way through the maze and peek inside the fort to find out!

Time to Get Active!

If the kiddos need to expend some energy, then you’re in the right place. The Peppa Pig theme park is packed with a variety of playgrounds!

Grandpa Pig’s Greenhouse is themed around growing vegetables and includes areas for climbing, crawling, and sliding. Similarly, Peppa Pig’s Treehouse also boasts a nice-sized slide, a swing attached to the tree, and a climbing net. Lastly, Rebecca Rabbit’s Playground mimics rabbit burrows with tunnels for crawling. Can you count all of the carrots here?

Time to PARTY!

These attractions are the ones I would personally be the most hyped for if I were back to being six years old. (Ah, those were the days!)

Head over to Mr. Potato’s Showtime Arena to catch live shows throughout the day. The shows star Peppa Pig and her family and include songs, games, and lots of giggles; fans of Peppa might just squeal in delight when they see their favorite characters in real life! (Note: you can grab a photo with Peppa and George after the show!)

We already mentioned this area briefly, but Pirate Island Sand Play is perfect for kiddos who love to get down and dirty. (Like my nephew, who loves kinetic sand almost as much as Peppa!) Whether digging for buried treasure or building the tallest sand castle, this beachside play area will satisfy that innate desire to do something messy.

Another great interactive activity is spending some time at the Fun Fair. There are lots of free games to play, like bean bag toss, ring toss, and hook-a-duck! There are even some funhouse mirrors which are always a good, old-fashioned delight.

Speaking of messy, Muddy Puddles Splash Pad might be the most iconic play area of the entire Peppa Pig theme park. (Playing in muddy puddles is Peppa’s favorite thing to do!) Thankfully, this Muddy Puddles play area isn’t actually muddy. Phew! It does include spraying fountains, slippery slides, and other splashtastic activities to keep you feeling cool. Oh, and parents will be glad to note there are lounge chairs situated beneath canopies. This might just become everybody’s favorite spot in Peppa’s park!

The Peppa Pig theme park is the perfect way to introduce kiddos to the joys of an amusement park and takes about half a day to experience. Every ride and attraction has been designed with family in mind, and we love that children in wheelchairs can enjoy the park, too. For example, the Muddy Puddles Splash Pad has a tunnel of water hoops they can wheel through, and Peppa’s Balloon Ride has a wheelchair-accessible basket. Additionally, this park is a Certified Autism Center, so every ride and attraction has a sensory guide that allows you to judge how the encounter will affect your child.1
