The 6 BEST Pumpkin Patches in Florida!

Whether it’s for pie-making or decorating, bringing home a bright orange pumpkin from the pumpkin patch is a quintessential spooky season activity! That’s why we’ve curated a list of our favorite Florida pumpkin patches for you to check out. We hope you love these locations as much as we do!

Happy fall, ya’ll!

Santa’s Christmas Tree Forest

35317 Huff Road, Eustis

Pumpkins…at a Christmas tree forest?? That’s right! It’s the two best holidays mashed into one amazing farm!

Santa’s Christmas Tree Forest hosts an annual event called “A Lot of Pumpkins” during the fall. The 2023 season will begin on September 23rd and run through October 30th. The farm will be open on weekends as well as select weekdays in October, and there will even be Trick or Treat stations October 28th-30th!

Harvest Holler Corn Maze

950 Tavares Rd, Polk City

Opening on September 15th for the 2023 season, Harvest Holler Corn Maze celebrates fall in southern comfort style!

In addition to their pumpkin patch (which also makes an adorable photo-op), they have their fantastic namesake corn maze! More fun photo-ops are scattered throughout the twists and turns of the maze, too. It’s a true test of your navigational skills. Can you find the exit, or will you make your way back to the same entrance three times in a row? (Yes, sadly, I speak from my own corn maze experience…)

Kiddos will especially enjoy Holler’s most unique attraction – the Big Frank-n-Slide! “Big Frank” is actually a Massey Ferguson 850 Combine that’s been turned into a bright, fun, one-of-a-kind playground!

There’s also a barrel ride tour of the farm (pulled by tractors), a “see the animals” hayride, a mini-golf course, tire swings, and, most importantly, plenty of stations for playing a round of Corn Hole!

But what about that southern comfort I mentioned? Well, you’ll find that sequestered away at Paw Paw’s Vittles! Paw Paw serves up deliciously roasted sweet corn on the cob, cheeseburgers, fries, and “the best sweet tea and lemonade in the area.” When you’re ready for some mouthwatering dessert, just pop on over to Maw Maw’s Country Store, where Maw Maw will fix you up with her famous homemade cobbler and pumpkin pie!

There’s no yummier way to celebrate fall!

SeaWorld Halloween Spooktacular 2023: A Fun-Loving Fall Festival For Big and Small

The SeaWorld Halloween Spooktacular is a daytime celebration where kids (and adults!) can dress up and enjoy the oceanic park as trick-or-treaters! Colorful and fun, only the light-hearted side of Halloween is on display at this soiree, making it the perfect party for families or folks like me whose scary threshold is watching Scooby Doo and the Cyber Chase!.

Mr. Jack O’ Lantern’s Pumpkin Patch

419 Lakeview Ave, West Palm Beach

Mr. Jack O’ Lantern’s Pumpkin Patch is a family-owned business that delivers pumpkins to both the East and West coasts – because everyone deserves to have a smiling jack o’ lantern on their front step!

Their pumpkins range from cutesy, fit-in-your-palm, “jack be little” pumpkins to mammoth pumpkins that weigh over 50 POUNDS!! And they don’t just stop at selling perfect carving pumpkins; Mr. Jack O’ Lantern also has gourds, squash, corn stalks, and hay! It’s everything you need for a full-on fall-time front yard display!

Mr. Jack O’ Lantern also has a number of activities so your visit here can extend into an entire day of family fun. Their recently opened Florida pumpkin patch includes a pumpkin carving and pumpkin decorating station so that you can give your new pumpkin buddy a face right then and there!

They even have farm animals here, which is just the whipped cream on top of a pumpkin spice latte! Because, if you ask me, nothing is better than a day filled with happy pumpkins and adorable animals!

Mr. Jack’s pumpkin patch will be open from October 1st through the 31st for an entire month of fun.

Amazing Grace Family Farms

4251 SR 21, Green Cove Springs

This fantastic Florida pumpkin patch is brimming with the best fall-time vibes! As of writing, we’re eagerly awaiting the dates for their 2023 fall season, but in the meantime, here’s what you can expect to see at Amazing Grace Family Farms!

Attractions include a winding crop maze, super adorable farm animals, a barrel train ride, beautifully Instagrammable photo-ops, a jump pad for the kiddos, and, of course, dozens and dozens of pumpkins! Amazing Grace Family Farm is the perfect place to make autumn memories that you’ll cherish for years to come.

Hunsader Farms Pumpkin Festival

5500 Co Rd 675, Bradenton

Hunsader Farms is usually a farmer’s market. But when autumn rolls around, it transforms into a Pumpkin Festival! This year marks the 32nd annual Pumpkin Festival, and it will be open from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on October 14-15, 21-22, and 28-29.

The festival includes a craft show… Need I say more? I know, that’s enough incentive for me, too, but there’s tons of other stuff going on, as well! Like chainsaw sculpting, a petting zoo, live music, and scarecrow displays! (Listen closely, and you might just catch one singing “If I Only Had A Brain.”)

That’s all included with admission (which is $15 – kids 10 and under are free!), but extra goodies you may want to budget for include bringing home a pumpkin, pony rides, pumpkin pie, homemade ice cream, the corn maze, the butterfly experience, and more!

On top of all of that, Hunsader Farms is doggo-friendly, so it’s truly the perfect destination for the whole family! (Just make sure to bring a leash!)

Special Mention: EPCOT’s Greenhouse

While it’s not a traditional pumpkin patch, we thought it appropriate to mention the pumpkins grown in this amazing Walt Disney World facility! You see, some of them are magically Mickey-shaped!

The EPCOT pumpkin patch – and the entire greenhouse – can be viewed during the Living with the Land ride, or even better, with the special “Behind the Seeds” tour! During the fall, the greenhouse is usually populated by adorable scarecrows and autumn-themed décor. And what better way to celebrate the harvest season than learning the ins and outs of Disney-fied gardening??

At the very least, you’ll probably get some good inspiration for making a Mickey Mouse jack o’ lantern.

Whether it’s a family day or a date for two, we think these pumpkin patches are the coziest way to celebrate the most wonderful time of the year (sorry, Christmas)!

What kind of pumpkin will you bring home, and do you plan to make it a jack o’ lantern? If so, what face are you going to give it?
