Delicious Holiday Cocktails at Walt Disney World Resorts and Parks
Have a holly jolly Christmas

It’s the best time of the year
Now I don’t know if there’ll be snow
But have a cup of cheer
Even if you don’t spot a snowflake falling from the sky in the Disney Parks in November and December, you can definitely find a cup of cheer! In fact, there are so many great holiday cocktail options you find it difficult to pick a favorite.
But don’t worry. We’re here to help!
Today, we’ll break down some of the most popular, most delicious, and most unique holiday cocktails that have been available at Walt Disney World Resort in the past (and are likely to be back again). We hope you’ll let us know which one you end up liking the best!
Disney Parks Holiday Cocktails
One holiday cocktail we simply have to talk about is the “Holiday Bliss.” This is an incredibly popular drink at Christmastime in Disney World. This drink is brimming with both vanilla vodka and vanilla ice cream, embellished with a peppermint rim around the glass, and there’s even caramel syrup in the drink as well. If you have to choose one cocktail for an Instagram photo-op, this is the one. Try it at the Hollywood Brown Derby Lounge!
When in EPCOT, do as each individual country would do at each location! One of the coolest Disney World holiday traditions (in our opinion) is the Holidays Around the World Festival! Not only is it educational and fascinating, but many stations around EPCOT have “Holiday Kitchens” providing a large and well-rounded idea of individual countries and how they celebrate the holidays! It’s really an exceptional opportunity to experience so many cultures and special traditions. We highly recommend it!
When passing through America in the EPCOT World Showcase, try the 3 Daughters Brewing Eggnog available this year!
At the Mele Kalikimaka Holiday Kitchen, you can try a “Melon Breeze with Spiced Rum” cocktail. You’ll feel like enjoying a bright Hawaiian Christmas day after a single sip!
There are also tasty treats at each “kitchen,” of course, but we recommend topping your list with the Bavaria Holiday Kitchen near Germany. You’ll have the opportunity to order a hot spiced wine at this booth – a delicious and uncommon opportunity!
We haven’t covered all of the drink options in the Holiday Kitchen menus, but a special one that we just can’t leave out is the Cranberry-Cinnamon Margarita available at “Las Posadas” in Mexico in the EPCOT World Showcase!
We recommend that if you’re aiming to try a new and fun seasonal cocktail, keep your eyes peeled throughout the parks because sometimes you’ll spot a unique cocktail at a kiosk between rides. In the past, Disney Parks’ kiosks offered “Fireside Cider,” a cinnamon whiskey and vanilla vodka-based cocktail. Kiosks have also offered the “Mistletoe,” which is a rum-based beverage with pineapple and melon flavorings. Mmmmm. Sounds like a winner!
At Dockside Diner in Hollywood Studios, you can order a delicious hot chocolate made with black cherry bourbon. It’s the combo you never knew you needed! To enhance the drink even further, it’s topped with marshmallow syrup, too. Disney does not mess around with crafting high-quality beverages and food items to fit any and every holiday celebration. This fabulous beverage’s official title is the “Black Cherry Bourbon Hot Chocolate.”
Disney Springs and Disney Resorts Holiday Cocktails
Another popular Christmas beverage provider at Disney World, not to be confused with Dockside Diner in Hollywood Studios, is Dockside Margaritas, located in Disney Springs. Here, you’ll find a fabulous margarita, “Snowman on the Beach Margarita,” which sports a delicious and crumbly graham cracker rim.
Graham cracker rim?!
Run, don’t walk, to try this holiday cocktail! (You know it’s the one the Burl Ives snowman from Rudolph would get.)
Keep your eyes peeled for the “Claus Mo,” too. It’s a fun and festive drink that tastes similar to a Cosmopolitan but with some added seasonal flair! If it’s available again this year – fingers crossed! – you’ll probably find the Claus Mo at Jock Lindsey’s “Holiday” Bar (usually it would be known as the Hangar Bar) in Disney Springs.
Jock Lindsey’s Holiday Bar also has a number of other impressively crafted Christmas-themed cocktails, so it’s definitely worth a visit to see all the options that await you. The Hangar/Holiday bar in Disney Springs also offers a variety of tasty winter-themed desserts, so there’s always something for everyone at this fun, thematic bar.
Do you know what everyone loves at least once around Christmastime? Warm hot chocolate or eggnog – spiked if one is feeling particularly adventurous!
If you’ve ever looked into the alcoholic beverages available in Disney World, you’ve most definitely heard of Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort.
This bar has the tendency to be packed almost any day of the year because of its quality and ultra-fun atmosphere. So, when the holidays hit the Disney Resorts, an exciting themed drink known as the “Tropical Snowstorm” becomes the top tantalizing seasonal refreshment, only available at Trader Sam’s. The Tropical Snowstorm is made up of a bourbon and rum base with cinnamon, peppermint, and coconut mixed in! It’s so very delicious.
As of writing, we don’t yet know what will and won’t be offered during the Christmas celebrations at each Disney Park, but these are some of our favorites that have come back time and again throughout the years. We believe the holiday cocktail selection will be similar this year, maybe even with a few new additions! Disney doesn’t do anything halfway, as we all know. That’s why celebrating the holidays in the parks is also one of our favorite parts of the year.
Also, in Disney news, it was officially announced that new cocktails will be served throughout Magic Kingdom. We’re excited to see if this will include some seasonal beverages for our enjoyment!
Most holiday beverages, treats, and celebrations should begin in Disney Parks around Veteran’s Day, November 11, 2022, and will last through the first week of January.
We hope you enjoy trying a few of these delicious-sounding cocktails and that you have a very merry time celebrating with Mickey!
REMINDER: Always drink responsibly, please!
Have a holly, jolly Christmas, friends!
