Praise for Artist Point
Thrillist named Artist Point one of the best things to do at Disney, in large part due to the light theming and the Pacific Northwest-inspired ambiance.
One TripAdvisor reviewer called it “S-tier character dining.” With excellent food, a beautiful setting, and fantastic character interactions, it’s no wonder this experience is so highly praised.
Admittedly, the meal is pricey – $60 per adult and $39 per child (plus tax and gratuity). But for what you get, it’s a splurge-worthy experience. If you’re on a budget and only want to drop a lot of cash on one thing during your trip, this is a great candidate for that, since it combines a noteworthy meal, a feast for the eyes, and character interactions that will have the entire family smiling.
The Menu
You’ll start with shared starters. Choose your entrée, then enjoy the rest of this prix fixe menu, including shared desserts to close out your evening. All you have to worry about is making a few choices, then enjoying your night.
And So The Story Begins…
The shared appetizers include wild mushroom bisque with crispy mushrooms, Hunter’s Pie (with turkey, chicken, black truffle, cranberry preserves, and crispy sauerkraut), and Wicked Shrimp Cocktail (with a bloody Mary vinaigrette and seaweed salad, punctuated by a spicy house-made seasoning blend).
Entrees
Or “The Core of the Story,” as Artist Point calls it. This is your key decision in this prix fixe menu.
Choose from “Cottage” beef stroganoff (tender beef, preserved vegetables, spätzle, mushrooms, and aged cheese) and the Magic Mirror’s slow-braised pork shank (with horseradish mashed potato, wilted greens, and jus).
We love the storybook-inspired names of these dishes, like A Stroll Through Nature (asparagus, leeks, arugula, and gnocchi with sage and parmesan) and the plant-based Sorceress Spell of “Tricken” Chicken (cauliflower puree, roasted vegetables, and vegetable jus).
No matter what you choose, each entrée features storybook-inspired themes, made by Artist Point’s expert culinary staff, in a gorgeous presentation.
Kids’ Menu
Even picky eaters and kiddos can still enjoy a fairy tale dinner! The Appetizer From the Garden is a create-your-own honey butter with fruit, vegetables, and cheese – a charcuterie plate for one that your kids will love.
The kids’ entrees include their choice of grilled chicken, the grilled fish of the day, or prime rib roast with their choice of optional sides (carrots, roasted potatoes, macaroni and cheese, broccolini, and more).
Sweet Endings – Shared Desserts
It’s a good thing you don’t have to choose your shared desserts because you’d have a hard time picking just one! Enjoy bites of all of them with your table. From the Miner’s Treasures (velvety cookies and cream panna cotta and chocolate gems) to the whimsical Fairy Tale Gooseberry Tart with meringue and fresh gooseberries to the show-stopping “Poison” Apple (a dark chocolate apple mousse with a sour surprise in the center), you’ll have a hard time choosing whether to admire the work of art in front of you or to dig in and enjoy it!
Each dessert is lovingly plated and expertly crafted, creating a whimsical end to your meal that will capture your heart and your imagination. Don’t be shy about taking pictures – you’ll want to remember every bite!
Wickedly Refreshing Cocktails (And Mocktails… and More!)
No meal is complete without something lovely to sip, and no story is complete without a little something extra special. You’ll find exactly that on Artist Point’s drink list! Their creative and fun cocktails (and mocktails) will satisfy your thirst for the perfect evening out.
Mocktails
This isn’t a place that skimps out on the imagination when it comes to their mocktails. We love their Transformation Potion (lemonade with a “blue potion”) and their Through the Forest mocktail (wildberry, lime juice, mint, and sparkling water). And that’s just the beginning! Every mocktail has a little something special to make it unforgettable.
Cocktails
If there’s one place where the Snow White theme really shines, it’s on Artist Point’s cocktail menu. Every drink is imbued with a healthy dose of imagination and whimsy, always with a tie-in to the classic tale you’ve come to celebrate and enjoy. The Enchanted Apple features citrus vodka, sour apple pucker, and white cranberry juice.
And the flavors offered are surprisingly sophisticated. A Brew of Peaches features extra-aged Jim Beam bourbon, peaches, raspberry, and bruleed Demerara sugar, for a crisp and glorious sipping experience.
And More
They also offer a variety of beers in bottles and on draft. And their impressive wine list is curated with the most highly rated wines from Oregon and Washington state.
