Join the Club! – Exploring All 11 Club Levels at Disney World Deluxe & Moderate Resorts
The only thing better than staying at a Disney World resort is staying at Club Level in a Disney World resort. (Or that’s what we think, at least!)
If you don’t already know, there is an option to reserve a Club Level room at each of the Walt Disney World Deluxe resorts (and one Moderate resort). Club Level is typically designated to one or two floors of a resort building, and those designated floors offer delicious complimentary food, treats, coffee, wine, and more throughout the day.
Club Level guests also get exclusive access to a Club Level Concierge! This assigned Cast Member Concierge will be reachable day and night for any reservations, assistance, or coordination you and your party might need during your stay. It’s quite the royal treatment!
Today, we’re breaking down the Club Level lounges at each WDW resort that offers the option. Which one is best for you? Read on and find out!
Club Levels at Disney World Deluxe Resorts
Royal Palm Club at the Grand Floridian Resort
The Royal Palm Club is located in the main building at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort. The pricing for Club Level rooms is going to start around $1,300 per night and go up from there.
The Royal Palm Club lounges have concierge desks available for your assistance, and you’ll find a TV or two broadcasting Disney entertainment. You’ll also be able to enjoy the gorgeous views of the Grand Floridian resort and the sparkling Seven Seas Lagoon outside. The seating is cushy and comfortable, and the décor around this lounge matches the grandeur of the resort’s beautiful appearance.
The Royal Palm Club offers coffee, refreshments, afternoon tea, and evening treats, or as they like to call it, “Twilight Refreshers.” Their hours are 6:30 am – 10:00 pm.
Sugar Loaf Key Club at the Grand Floridian Resort
Many guests feel that Sugar Loaf Key Club is less exciting than the Royal Palm Club. This could be because Sugar Loaf Key Club isn’t located in the main building, and you don’t have elegant piano serenades floating up to the lounge while you enjoy your midday snacks and desserts.
Sugar Loaf Key Club is a Club Level lounge that’s available in one of the outer buildings of Disney’s Grand Floridian. While its location may not be considered prime real estate, the indoor décor does not disappoint. Here, you’ll find a concierge desk, plenty of seating, and an array of coffee, tea, snacks, desserts, and water for everyone. (Fun fact: They serve Mickey waffles! Other Club Level lounges do not do this.)
One perk of Sugar Loaf Key Club not offered by the main building is a slightly cheaper price (by about $100 or so).
Atrium Club at the Contemporary Resort
One of the best parts about staying at Club Level in any WDW resort is that you don’t go through the typical check-in process. Once you inform the front desk that your party has arrived, you will be assigned a concierge.
You’ll receive a welcome letter and be allowed to look around the lounge and enjoy some delights immediately. No delays, which is nice!
One specific perk of the Atrium Club at the Contemporary Resort is that the seating is super comfortable here! There are some long couches that provide significantly more seating for guests, and the view of Seven Seas Lagoon and Magic Kingdom are excellent!
The Atrium Club’s rates for Club Level rooms are actually a little less than the Grand Floridian. You’re still probably going to pay at least $900, if not higher, for access to the Atrium Club.
Tower Club at the Contemporary Resort
The Tower Club is located on the 14th floor of the Contemporary Resort. There are very few rooms on this floor, so the experience at the Tower Club will automatically feel more personalized, which is just an added luxury!
Typical concierge service will be offered to each Club Level guest at the Tower Club, and this includes call or text. Yes, that’s right, you can text your designated concierge! (Every introvert’s dream!)
The Tower Club’s aesthetic is fabulous, and the views are delightful. Our personal favorite perk of the Tower Club, as opposed to the Atrium Club, is that the Tower Club suites can feel more private, as they are not open to the central lobby of the Contemporary Resort. This means you’ll hear less noise from other guests and get a gorgeous view!
King Kamehameha at the Polynesian Resort
The best part about any Club Level access at the WDW resorts is that all the snacks, hors d’oeuvres, coffee, and other beverages are completely complimentary and included in your Club Level experience. There’s no limit on how many times you can go back and snag more treats. It’s really a wonderful perk, and (in our opinion) most of the time, it’s worth the splurge.
You’re not just getting snacks, though; you’re typically always getting highly personalized service from the concierge as well as a nicer room with a (usually) beautiful view.
The King Kamehameha Lounge has a vibe that really fits in with the rest of the Polynesian Resort, which we love. The food offered is of great quality, and the view overlooking the water is wonderfully serene.
One of the best parts? You can see Magic Kingdom from the lounge! Enjoy the fireworks at night or take in the picturesque scene while you eat your breakfast. The choice is yours!
The King Kamehameha Lounge is open 24 hours a day. You heard that right! The food and drinks will still be offered from around 7:00 am – 10:00 pm each day, but you’re allowed to hang out as late as you want, which is pretty cool.
Another unique feature of the Club Level at Polynesian is that the flavors of snacks and food spreads will often have an Asian influence! So delicious!
How much does it cost to stay at King Kamehameha? About $800 per night, and (as usualy) it goes up from there.
Kilimanjaro Club Lounge at the Animal Kingdom Lodge
The Kilimanjaro Club Level rooms are typically going to start at around $850 per night. The best part about the Kilimanjaro Club lounge at Animal Kingdom Lodge is that you get all the perks of Club Level surrounded by wildlife! You’re staying at one of the most unique and fascinating resorts available at Walt Disney World.
The Kilimanjaro Club lounge is decorated to feel like a more exclusive extension of the rest of the resort. Look forward to a plethora of available juices, sodas, water, milk, and even an espresso machine! There’s truly something for the whole family. Don’t skip out on the desserts here, either. They never disappoint!
Much like the other Club Level lounges, food is offered from 7:00 am – 10:00 pm. The Cast Members are fantastic here, and you will feel luxuriously attended to as a Kilimanjaro Club lounge guest.
Old Faithful Club at the Wilderness Lodge Resort
This lounge is open 24 hours a day, and food service is offered 7:00 am – 10:00 pm each day! What we love about Wilderness Lodge’s food is that it’s totally on-brand with the rest of the lodge’s theme. It’s also delicious!
Old Faithful Club at Wilderness Lodge is large and certainly keeps in-theme with the rest of Wilderness Lodge. The food is, of course, an elevated experience. And the prices for a Club Level room start at about $800. These prices can always range much higher than the starting price, but that gives you an idea of the ideal cheapest room you might find.
Old Faithful Club has beer on tap which excites many guests because not every Club Level offers this. Additionally, as with all Club Level rooms, guests will receive exclusive ultra-comfy robes and slippers! Luxury? We say yes!
Regatta Club at the Yacht Club Resort
The Regatta Club is open each day from 7:00 am – 10:00 pm. Guests can start their mornings with a delicious cup of coffee and, later, some exquisite hors d’oeuvres throughout the day.
Everything inside the Regatta Club Level lounge is nautical-themed, which is so much fun. It gives a New England / East Coast vibe with white and blue colored chairs, tables, and décor. Additionally, there’s even a huge compass on the carpet!
We will say that the Regatta Club is fairly small when compared to the other lounges, so it could get crowded at peak times.
Overall, we think the Regatta Club could be worth it, although guests will definitely want to consider its price point, starting at about $800 per night.
Stone Harbor Club at the Beach Club Resort
Food, drinks, espresso, oh my!
The Stone Harbor Club Level isn’t as pretty as perhaps the Tower Club or Royal Palm Club, but the food is still top-notch.
The prices start at about $800 per night. An official price, of course, depends on how the crowds are at the time of year and other factors like the overall prices of WDW resorts, but this gives you a rough idea for your budget.
Look forward to fabulous additional touches similar to what every other Club Level access offers. You’ll receive concierge service, elevated amenities, and even a newspaper each morning. Disney truly pampers you when you stay at Club Level.
Innkeepers Club at the Boardwalk Inn
The Innkeeper’s Club Level is simply magical with its service! Rates will start at around $900 and go up from there.
It’s a really beautiful lounge and, in terms of attractiveness, potentially one of the best lounges available in Club Level! Guests can enjoy charcuterie options, fruit, and delightful Mickey-shaped sugar and brown sugar cubes to put in their coffee and tea.
Innkeepers Club has a lovely view of the resort for guests to gaze at as they relax in the lounge with their party (or alone! We don’t judge!), all while munching on afternoon snacks and sipping some hot tea.
Disney Moderate Resorts with Club Level
Chronos Club at the Coronado Springs Resort (Gran Destino Tower)
Last but not least….
You’ll find the Chronos Club, the only Club Level lounge available among the moderate hotels, at the tippy top of Gran Destino Tower.
The large windows in the Chronos club offer sweeping vistas, and the spacious area is nice if several large groups are sitting in the lounge at once.
Because it’s the only Club Level lounge in the moderate resorts at WDW, it’s also the least expensive, which is awesome. The room prices begin around $450. Huge difference, right?
The lounge is open from 6:30 am – 10:00 pm. It’s important to note this lounge is not open 24 hours a day, unlike many of the other Club Level lounges. So, don’t expect to stick around late into the evening. Nevertheless, the hot breakfast here definitely impresses!
Is Disney Club Level Worth it?
We think so, but overall, staying at Club Level in a Walt Disney World resort is a personal decision. Do you want to dish out the added expense? Are the snacks, drinks, and views in the lounge appealing enough for you? Do you prefer to have a space to take breaks throughout the day?
Club Level can be a fabulous perk. “Free” complimentary food, snacks, and concierge service do make a person feel truly pampered! (It’s sort of like taking a cruise, but you get to stay on land!) Hopefully, we’ve helped you better understand what each resort offers in its Club-Level lounge so you can decide which one, if any, are best for your Disney vacation.
