Putting Edge Orlando: The #1 Glow in the Dark Mini Golf Extravaganza!
There are so many reasons to visit Putting Edge Orlando. Number one, it’s mini golf and mini golf rocks. Number two, it’s glow in the dark. Number three (if you need a number three), that punny name is everything.
In all seriousness, they really are on the “putting edge” of miniature golf courses! While each course usually boasts its own unique feature – be it a giant, goofy dinosaur or Wizard Mickey – Putting Edge’s claim to fame is more than just a gimmick.
Having a glow-in-the-dark indoor miniature golf in Orlando genuinely changes the entire gameplay experience! It’s time to step off of the green and into the dark side of golfing…
(Actually, it’s not ominous at all, I swear!)
Putting Edge: Mini Golf Glow Up!
The term “glow up” is used to describe the transformation of something awkward or old-fashioned into something confident and new. While I wouldn’t call regular mini golf awkward or old-fashioned by any means, Putting Edge Glow in the Dark Mini Golf Orlando has still breathed new life into the game, enhancing its appeal to a new generation and maintaining the game’s popularity. A tricky thing to do in a fast-paced and trendy world! So, in that regard, we’d definitely call this a glow up.
Well, that, and because it literally glows in the dark now.

Thanks to the magic of black lights, Putting Edge totally outshines the competition! With vivid orange, neon yellow, highlighter green, and poppin’ pink, this indoor miniature golf course comes to life in the most dazzling way. It’s a lot like those aquariums with moon jellyfish, anemones, or other bioluminescent life – except, instead of being on the outside looking in, you’re walking right through this fantastic world.
A full 18 holes, this course will take you through underwater escapades, dense jungle safaris, and even intergalactic adventures! Each setting is whimsically crafted and makes the most of being basked in black light. Trees, buildings, animals, plants, aliens – it’s all here in bright and shining technicolor!
The bottom line: if you liked having glow-in-the-dark stars on your ceiling as a kid, you’re going to love Putting Edge mini golf.
In the Dark Details
Just because this miniature golf course is in the dark doesn’t mean you have to be! So, here are some helpful details to know before you glow – I mean, go!
Putting Edge Orlando is located on the I-Drive, so it’s not too terribly difficult to find! As mentioned, it is indoors, making it a great option for rainy days or really hot days. (Not that we ever have weather like that in Florida.)
As of writing, admission is $15.50 and can only be paid with a debit or credit card. You can also book (and pay for) a reservation online. Pretty nifty! Oh, and speaking of reservations, Putting Edge can be booked for birthday parties, youth groups, and other events!
Hours vary a bit during the week, with the course being open from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 1:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. on Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. on Saturday, and 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Sunday. Hours during summer and school holidays may differ – usually opening earlier – and the course accommodates privately pre-booked events as needed.
In addition to the glow-in-the-dark mini golf course, there’s also an entire glow-in-the-dark arcade! There’s the classical, tried-and-true games as well as lots of zany, new entertainment. Whether you decide to indulge in the arcade before or after a game of putt putt is up to you! The only problem is you might not want to leave.
Well, at least until you get hungry for lunch or dinner! While you can purchase snack foods and drinks to hold you over, there’s not really a substantial menu. Luckily, there are plenty of places to eat along the I-Drive! From pubs to pizzerias – and even a Cold Stone Creamery! – you won’t have to go hungry in the heart of Orlando.
Pro Tips for On Par Putt Putt
You don’t have to follow this pro tip, but it will make your Putting Edge experience even more fun if you do! Try to remember to wear white and/or fluorescent colors when you visit, so you glow in the black light, too! You’ll really be in the spirit of things, and it also makes for some super fun selfies.
We would also recommend reserving your putt-putt time online rather than just walking in. While you’re absolutely welcome to walk in, this might result in a bit of a wait before you can start your game. Sometimes, it just depends on the day. So, if you have a schedule to keep, we say play it safe and book online!
Speaking of a schedule, games range from about 30 minutes to an hour (not including arcade time!); it’s an excellent activity for the afternoon or evening and works especially well when paired with other entertainment along the I-Drive. After spending the day experimenting at WonderWorks or meeting celebs at Madame Tussauds, a round of mini golf is the perfect finale! (Or the perfect starter! Basically, you can’t go wrong with a glowing golf course.)
Other than that, the main thing is to simply have a great time! Putting Edge is excellent for all ages, from elementary kids to adults who know a thing or two about fun. Whether you choose to visit as a family, with friends, or even on a glow-in-the-dark date, Putting Edge mini golf is a fantastic choice for an affordable Orlando activity that provides quality fun.
