Island H2O Live! Water Park at Margaritaville Resort Orlando: A Sensational Social Media Splash!

Regular Orlando travelers are probably fairly familiar with some of the more well-known water parks in the area: Universal’s Volcano Bay, Blizzard Beach, SeaWorld’s Aquatica, CoCo Key Water Park, Typhoon Lagoon

But did you know that there’s an incredible, highly-immersive water park located at Margaritaville Resort? The reason this family-friendly water park stands out from the rest is partly due to the unique set-up and theme of the park. It’s social media-themed! Unusual? Maybe, but also – of the future! Island H2O is the first of its kind.

The idea is to post, post, post away! You can download the Island H2O Live app, and guests can also select playlists and lighting effects through their H2O armbands!

(Make sure to stop in at the selfie video booths and post the results for your followers to see!)

Island H2O Live! Admissions

The water park season for Island H2O Live! is typically from March – November (with heated pools in the fall.) The hours each day will vary but typically are 10:00 am – 5:00 pm or 6:00 pm.

On some weekends in the summer, the park will stay open until 9:00 pm!

Island H2O Live! also has what they call a “Sunshine Guarantee.” In the event the weather becomes stormy enough that rides have to close for over 2 hours and guests leave during this time of ride closures, they may receive a “Sunshine Ticket” so they can return to the water park later in the season. For more specific details on the Sunshine Guarantee, you can click here.

While outside towels are allowed, outside food, drink, inflatable floats, or coolers (unless they are soft-sided coolers no larger than 8.5” x 6” x 6”) are not allowed in the water park. Thankfully there are some snacks available in the park, which we’ll discuss in a bit! (Note: allergy and medical needs may be exceptions to this rule.)

We’re happy to note that life jackets are provided!
