Minnie’s Holiday Dine at Hollywood & Vine: Dazzling Dishes and a Very Merry Mouse

With Christmas around the corner, that means it’s time for Disney World’s annual and ever-popular Minnie’s Holiday Dine at Hollywood & Vine once again!! There’s a lot to love about a Disney Christmas, but getting to party with the impeccable Minnie Mouse is definitely a list-topper.

But it’s not just Minnie! All of her friends are coming to the party, too, and with their company, it’s sure to be an unforgettable festive meal.

While you eat, you’ll get to meet some of Disney’s most iconic characters (Minnie, Mickey, Pluto, and Goofy are typically part of the line-up), and you’ll even get to watch them bust some dance moves! Each character is dressed in their sparkling holiday best because, after all, this show is an exclusive Christmastime spectacle!

Minnie’s restaurant is designed to reflect a classic 1950’s style diner, giving customers a taste of great food and good old-fashioned nostalgia.

However, for Minnie’s Holiday Dine, this groovy little restaurant gets a total Christmas makeover with festive décor galore! Holiday music playing softly in the background keeps the Christmas spirit flowing all through your meal. While Christmas parties with family and friends are pretty fun…Christmas parties with Minnie Mouse might just be even better!

The lunch and dinner buffet is bursting with fresh salads and savory toppings, as well as a scrumptious selection of chilled starters. For the main course, look forward to delightful dishes like macaroni and cheese with shrimp and bacon, roasted mushroom farro risotto, oven-roasted chicken, herb-crusted tenderloin steak, crispy pork belly, and salmon. It’s the most fabulous diner fare you’ll ever taste!

Be sure to save room for dessert! These seasonal goodies are always adorably crafted and sensationally sweet! Bread pudding and Mississippi mud pie have been known to grace the dessert menu.

Dine With Minnie All The Time!

Not planning a Disney trip around the Christmas season? Never fear!

Minnie isn’t called the “mouse-with-the-mostest” for nothing. She enjoys entertaining park guests all year long, which means the Holiday Dine is just one of many character dining experiences offered at Hollywood & Vine. Disney makes it a point to celebrate just about every season, so Minnie’s Seasonal Dine runs all year long at Hollywood Studios, changing based on the time of year.

If you visit Disney World in January or February, you can experience the Silver Screen Dine, a glamourous dinner party that’ll give you a taste of the Hollywood life. Minnie and her crew appear in their fanciest outfits, ready to attend (and receive) the Oscars.

From March to May is the Springtime Dine, a lovely little garden-style dinner party. It’s the perfect time of year to enjoy a picturesque picnic-style lunch at this sit-down restaurant. The spring menu often includes basil lime fruit and watercress salads. The main course can include dishes like baked buffalo chicken and barbecue meatballs. Flavored cheesecakes and cream puffs make springtime the sweetest time!

June, July, and August bring with them the Summertime Dine. This event celebrates the beach-themed movies that were popular in the 1950s, so you’ll find Minnie and her friends ready to go for a swim! (Swimming is the best thing to do during the hot Florida summers!) This menu is focused on foods that’ll help cool you down, like cold salads and shrimp, along with cupcakes for dessert.

Generally, starting in September and running until the beginning of November is Minnie’s Halloween Dine. Donning their best Halloween costumes, Minnie and her friends will entertain you during your meal, which Disney bills as a holiday-appropriate “monster feast.” Surrounded by the restaurant’s delightfully spooky Halloween décor, it’s impossible not to get excited about trick or treating on October 31st

The Magic of a Meal with Minnie

Minnie’s Holiday Dine is a meal worth celebrating, and this year, Minnie’s holiday hosting begins on November 8, 2023!

Prices for dining with Minnie are $38.00 per child (ages 3-9) and $59.00 per adult. Like any character dining experience, Minnie’s Holiday Dine is admittedly pricey but falls right in the middle of the price range pack you’ll see across the park. Is it worth it?

One major reason to attend an event like Minnie’s Holiday Dine is that it’s an efficient use of your time in Walt Disney World. Why stand in line, potentially for hours, to meet your favorite character when you can do it while relaxing with a good meal instead? At Minnie’s Holiday Dine, you’ll be able to meet multiple characters at once! If meet and greets are important to you, then Minnie’s Holiday Dine is certainly worth the consideration. Combined with its buffet of genuinely good (and fancy feeling) food, most guests agree it’s worth the splurge.

Holiday character dinners are definitely something to look forward to. They combine two of the best things Disney World has to offer: scrumptious food and inspiring characters.

The magic of Disney really comes to life during character dining experiences, especially during the holiday-themed ones! So, if you haven’t taken the time to experience this one yet, what are you waiting for? Minnie can’t wait to greet you at her Holiday Dine!
