Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party: Disney Holiday Fun for 2023
Sparkling with fairy dust and strong with the Force, Walt Disney World provides a transportive experience that lets you become part of a fairy tale, live in a different era, or even hail from another planet. That trademark immersiveness is part of Disney’s undeniable charm, and yet, during Christmastime, this theme park manages to make things even more special.
How? By inviting guests to join Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party! A glittering combination of Christmas cheer and Disney delights, this Magic Kingdom soiree is certainly a seasonal favorite.
With dazzling decorations, dancing, music, festive foods, and seasonal shows, this is one Christmas celebration you won’t want to miss! Happening on select evenings throughout November and December, Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party promises to be the holliest jolliest bash of the year!
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party
While Mickey is busy planning the snacks and entertainment, it’s up to you to organize your schedule and budget. Thankfully, dates and party admission are pretty straightforward. (A Christmas miracle!)
So, when is Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party 2023? And how can you attend?
This year, Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party will take place on select nights from November 9th to December 22nd. We recommend purchasing tickets as soon as you know what night works best for you, as these events sell out faster than Santa’s reindeer can pull a sleigh!
As of writing, here is a list of available nights (via Disney’s website):
November: 9-10, 13-14, 16-17, 19, 21-22, 26, 28, 30
December: 1, 3, 5, 7-8, 10, 12, 14-15, 17, 19, 21-22
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party ticket prices range from $159 to $199 (per adult), increasing as the dates inch closer to Christmas. As certain dates are deemed more desirable, the prices fluctuate to reflect that fact. (Note that while there are no “slow” dates, December tends to have denser crowds.)
However, the nice thing about the party tickets is that you do NOT need regular park admission or reservations for the day! Party ticket holders will be granted access to the Magic Kingdom as early as 4:00 p.m., giving them time to have some fun in the park and catch a ride or two before the Christmas celebration begins at 7:00 p.m.
Mickey’s Very Merry Festivities
Similar to Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party, you’ll get to experience parades, fireworks, and yummy food, but this time, it’s all cozily themed around the Christmas season. Wrap your hands around a warm cup of cocoa, and let’s join the celebration!
Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade
Find a spot in Frontierland, Liberty Square, or Main Street, U.S.A. to watch Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade! Wave to favorite characters as they march along with toy soldiers and gingerbread men. With beautiful floats and holiday music, this cavalcade is sure to get you in the Christmas spirit!
Additionally, you can also witness a stunning snowfall on Main Street – a true Florida rarity!
Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Show
When night falls, the Magic Kingdom shines its brightest! This park is known for its nightly fireworks, but Minnie has something extra special in store for Christmas party guests! This spectacular light show will take on holiday hues and merry tunes, ushering in the Christmas season with a “bang” worthy of July 4th.
Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration
It might not be the best grammar, but “most merriest” really is the best description for this stage show! Gather at Cinderella’s Castle for an impressive performance as live dancers and singers bring a medley of holiday songs to life!

Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree
Looking for a lively Christmas dance party?? Head over to Club Tinsel at Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café for a holly jolly jiving dance extravaganza! Younger Disney fans will enjoy twirling and whirling at the Disney Junior Jingle Jam with characters from Doc McStuffins and The Lion Guard (located at Storybook Circus). You can check the My Disney Experience app for specifics on the dance party schedule during your visit!

During the evenings of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, select rides will still be open for your enjoyment, and some will even be decked out in special holiday decor or playing holiday soundtracks! Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party food will include tasty, limited-time themed treats ranging from sweet to savory!
