Le Cellier Steakhouse at the EPCOT Canada Pavilion – The Best Cuisine Canada has to Offer

EPCOT is full of delicious places to eat, with flavors inspired by cuisines from all over the world. So, when you want a taste of the great nation of Canada, head straight to Le Cellier Steakhouse, eh!

Situated in the heart of the EPCOT’s Canada Pavilion, this upscale steakhouse features dressed-up Canadian cuisine in a cozy, inviting atmosphere you’ll never want to leave. Expect to find tender steaks, fresh seafood, and cheesy poutine fries – a favorite Canadian dish!

Cozy Ambience to Combat the Chills

While we might associate Canada with blankets of snow and brisk temperatures, Le Cellier’s ambiance is anything but chill! This wonderful restaurant is warm and inviting, reminiscent of a cozy Canadian chateau.

In other words, it’s the perfect place to enjoy exquisite steak and seafood specialties!

When you’re dining under sweeping stone arches by flickering candlelight, every dish feels extra-special. The wine selection is displayed in an ornate cellar with a maple leaf motif, recalling the wine cellars of grand chateau-style hotels like Fairmont Le Chateau Frontenac and Fairmont Chateau Laurier. Throughout the restaurant, you’ll find fine decorative glasswork, beautiful art, and gorgeous Canada-inspired detailing throughout the building.

But just because it’s in a beautiful environment doesn’t mean it feels stuffy or superfluous. The atmosphere is winsome and welcoming, inviting you to take off your toque and stay for a while. Here at Le Cellier Steakhouse, elegant plating has finally met up with easy-going vibes, and it’s the best combo since pancakes and maple syrup.

The Menu (That Goes Beyond Maple Syrup)

When you hear “Canadian cuisine,” what do you think of? If you’re like me, you probably drew a blank. But don’t be discouraged! That only means your experience at Le Cellier Steakhouse will be even more fun – rather than just a meal, it will be a (delicious) journey of discovery! You’ll be surprised and delighted to find that there’s a lot more to Canada than just Canadian bacon and angry geese.

(If you already know about Canadian cuisine, then you get brownie points! Nice!)

Amazing Appetizers

Le Cellier Steakhouse isn’t the place to skip out on appetizers.

From Prince Edward Island mussels straight from the Canadian cove (served with Meyer lemon cream, fresh herbs, house-made preserved lemons, and grilled ciabatta) to Canadian cheddar cheese soup made with Moosehead pale ale and applewood-smoked bacon, there’s plenty to get your taste buds singing. Even classic appetizers are turned up a notch at Le Cellier. The ahi tuna is prepared with a sesame crust, ponzu sauce, crispy shallots, pickled vegetables, cucumbers, and a citrusy mayo.

If you’re serious about getting a real taste of Canada, opt for the artisanally-curated cheese and charcuterie plate – it’s great for sharing with the whole table and features house-made charcuterie and fine Canadian and French cheeses. It’s always made with seasonal accompaniments, so even if this isn’t your first visit to Le Cellier, you’ll receive something fresh, new, and delightful.

Exceptional Entrees, Eh!

If you find yourself dining at Le Cellier Steakhouse while you’re craving steak, well, you’re in luck. (In fact, we recommend going with steak on the brain.)

You’ll be able to choose between ribeye steak with roasted shallot-whiskey butter, lemon-scented fingerling potatoes, and caramelized onions or a New York strip steak with au poivre sauce, potato au gratin with smoked cheddar, and crispy onions. Or there’s also the signature entrée: Le Cellier filet mignon – a top-rated Canadian tenderloin served with a tomato-asparagus relish, earthy mushroom risotto, and an indulgent truffly butter sauce.

Picking your steak is probably the hardest choice you’ll make in EPCOT.

Among the list of entrees you’ll also find delightful options like a sustainable fish selection with bamboo rice, miso butter, jalapeno gel, and sweet onion soubise. Vegetarians, people avoiding meat, and veggie-lovers, in general, will enjoy the steamed Asian Impossible dumplings with plant-based Impossible meat – alongside Chinese long beans, bok choy, red peppers, radishes, and a fragrant Asian-style broth.

To round out your meal, don’t forget to add sides! The menu offers Canadian-inspired riffs on the classic steakhouse sides you know and love. From Canadian cheddar creamed spinach, maple whiskey-glazed Brussels sprouts, loaded mashed potatoes with Boursin soft cheese, to five-cheese macaroni and cheese, it’s easy to enjoy the familiar and try something new!

Poutine Menu

If there’s one menu item at Le Cellier you simply must try, it’s the poutine. It’s a perfect entrée, but it works just as well as a side to share for the table.

If you’ve never had poutine, this is the perfect chance to right that wrong.

If Canada had a signature dish, this delectable, indulgent delicacy would probably be it. Traditional poutine is cheese curds and brown gravy poured over hot, crispy fries. Le Cellier Steakhouse offers a more refined, upscale version: their signature poutine is made with fresh-cut French fries, Canadian cheddar, truffles, and a red wine reduction.

You can also try the beef bourguignon poutine with gruyere, beef Bourguignon gravy, garlic aioli, and truffles. It’s the perfect way to make an already-indulgent dish even more irresistible!

Delectable Desserts

You won’t want to skip dessert at Le Cellier. Most people know Canadian sweets for their signature ingredient: maple syrup. And you’ll certainly find plenty of maple flavors on their dessert menu – like the maple crème brulee with maple whipped cream, accented with a crumbly maple leaf shortbread cookie, and the warm, pecan brown butter tart with maple ice cream, whisky caramel, and brown sugar anglaise.

But you’ll also get a chance to try desserts you may not have thought originated with Canada. Le Cellier’s carrot cake with coconut caramel is a delectable riff on a retro classic, and they also serve a layered chocolate caramel bar with dark chocolate mousse, caramel cookie pieces, milk chocolate shell, and a chocolate shortbread cookie – it’s their take on the Nanaimo bar, an iconic layered cookie bar named after the city of Nanaimo, British Columbia.

An Array of Canadian Beverages

Around the restaurant’s intimate interior, you’ll see a selection of fine Canadian wines displayed in glass and wooden cases. They’re as much a part of the décor as the rest of the architecture. If you love pairing a fine wine with your meal, this is the perfect chance to do so, Canada style!

But if beer is more your speed, you’ll find a wide selection of Canadian beers to choose from, too, and it’s so much more than just Molson!

You can also choose from after-dinner drink options like the Le Cellier Icewine flight and Canadian coffee with Brown Jug bourbon cream – a bold, sweet treat to energize you at the end of your meal. After all, you still have a day at Disney to finish off. You’ll need your energy!

Know Before You Go

Le Cellier Steakhouse requires reservations, so you’ll need to plan ahead. If you just walk in and ask for a table, you’ll probably be out of luck. As one of the most upscale EPCOT dining options, tables fill up fast. That’s why we recommend booking your meal reservations as soon as you know your travel dates. You don’t want to miss out!
