Disney’s Vero Beach Resort – A Peaceful Escape Within Reach of the Disney Magic
Nestled along Florida’s scenic Atlantic Treasure Coast, Disney has created the perfect beach getaway – with a little touch of pixie dust! Disney’s Vero Beach Resort is just 2 hours southeast of Walt Disney World Resort. This elegant hideaway is tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Orlando. Still, it keeps you close enough to take day trips to Disney and other Orlando attractions during your vacation.
Vero Beach Resort provides a unique getaway. The warm sand and sparkling blue waters offer plenty of recreational activities and relaxation while being a little off the beaten path. It’s a refuge where you can get away from it all and enjoy some peace and quiet amid spacious lodgings and breathtaking natural beauty. You’ll get to enjoy all the comforts of home with the addition of an idyllic beach that’s practically right outside your door.
Astounding Accommodations
If there’s one thing Disney does best, it’s giving you a whole host of ways to make your trip all your own. Vero Beach Resort’s accommodations are no exception. Choose the room style that best matches your stay, so you can be comfortable while you’re in paradise.
Deluxe Studio
Treat yourself to a view of the luscious resort gardens every day when you wake up. As with their parks, Disney takes great care to create a beautiful landscape perfectly managed by professional horticulturalists, landscape artists, and professional gardeners. Meanwhile, you will find your room furnished with one queen bed and a double-size sleeper sofa. The Deluxe Studio comfortably sleeps up to four people.
Ocean View Inn
What could possibly be better than taking in ocean views first thing every morning? Waking up to a stunning sunrise over the Atlantic, waves slowly splash ashore just steps from your room. The Ocean View room accommodations feature two queen beds and spaciously sleep up to four adults.
Standard View Inn
If you’re planning on spending most of your days on the beach and most of your room-time sleeping, the Standard View Inn will suit your needs just fine. Though smaller in size than the Ocean View room, the Standard is still furnished with two queen beds and can sleep up to four adults while still leaving enough space to spread out and relax in between oceanside adventures.
The Villas
To accommodate large groups in ultimate comfort, you can spring for a villa. Each one comes equipped with extra amenities like a kitchenette that includes a toaster, microwave, and coffee maker! Relax in the soaking tub, then let your hair down on a private porch or balcony to enjoy the sunshine without having to worry about sharing space with strangers.
Each villa also comes equipped with a Pack ‘n Play Playard (perfect if your group includes a few little ones), an in-room safe to keep all your valuables secure, a washer and dryer, and a Blu-Ray player and flat-screen TV for movie nights of luxurious proportions. (Okay, guys, Aladdin or The Little Mermaid? Who’s got the popcorn?)
1-Bedroom Villa
Take your pick of four distinct views: ocean view, poolside, the gorgeous, landscaped scenery, or the hotel itself. Each villa has one king-size bed, one twin-size sleeper chair, and one queen-size sleeper sofa. Sleeping up to five people, the 1-Bedroom Villa is perfect for smaller families and groups.
2-Bedroom Villa
Choose from the garden or poolside views. Either way, you’ll have maximum space to spread out and relax. The 2-bedroom villa is perfect for a mini-family reunion, large families, bachelorette parties, or you and eight of your closest friends. With one king bed, one queen bed, one queen-size sleeper sofa, one double-size sleeper sofa, and one twin-size sleeper chair, the villa comfortably sleeps up to nine people.
Amazing Amenities
Vero Beach Resort promises all the comforts of home, but in truth, they deliver all that and more! Guests enjoy complimentary self-parking and access to the Island Grove Packing Company in the lobby – a one-stop destination to grab vacation essentials including snacks, grocery essentials, resort apparel, gifts, Disney memorabilia, or movie rentals to enjoy in your home away from home.
And that’s not all. You can check out a full list of their amenities here.
Refreshing Recreation
Sea Turtle Conservation and Outing
During the summertime, the shores of the Treasure Coast become one of the most important sites for sea turtle nesting in the western hemisphere. Loggerheads, greens, and leatherbacks take to the beach to create their nests. Visitors to the Resort get a front-row seat to the hatching event as the newborn turtles emerge from their shells and take to the sea. It’s a life-changing experience for all ages.
Anchors A-weigh Fitness Room
The Resort makes it easy to fit in a workout while you’re enjoying your vacation. The fitness center is open 24 hours a day and features state-of-the-art equipment, free for all resort guests.
Pools
Vero Beach Resort’s feature pool is a gigantic Mickey Mouse-shaped pool that’s constantly maintained at 82 degrees, the perfect temperature for cannonballs and basking in the sun. Brave the 163-foot, 2-story Pirate’s Plunge waterslide for the ultimate thrill. If you’re looking for a more relaxing day, head to the whirlpool spa and let your worries wash away.
Kids will love splashing around the pirate ship-themed Tiger Lily Wet Play Area. With water cannons and a mini water slide, it’s full of kid-friendly fun. And it’s right next to the feature pool, so parents can swim laps or work on their tan while easily keeping an eye on the little ones.
Port Holes Mini Golf
Enjoy an evening of family-friendly fun at Port Holes, a pirate-themed 9-hole mini-golf course. Best of all is the fact that it is included at no charge for resort guests. (So, come on, dad, let’s see you show the kiddos how to putt as Tiger does!)
Atlantic Beach
There’s no better place to soak up the sun than right along the warm blue waters of the Treasure Coast. Vero Beach Resort is right next to miles of tropical shoreline. Just step outside your room, and you’ll find yourself practically on top of a beach paradise.
You can rent chairs and umbrellas on-site to set up a home base for the day. Relax on the sand with a good book, and make sure to wave hello to the local rare and endangered wildlife when critters come over to take a peek at their new neighbors. Thrill-seekers and athletes can rent boogie boards, sailboats, jet skis, kayaks, and banana boats right along the beach. We can’t think of a better place for a family day or even a honeymoon stroll on the sand. Finish your day with a romantic sunset over the swaying palms.
Sports
Sports enthusiasts will find plenty to do at Vero Beach Resort. The Resort includes golf courses, basketball and volleyball courts, full-size tennis courts (with onsite instructors for those looking to improve their game), bocce ball, scavenger hunts, bingo, archery, bike rentals, and more. There’s even fishing available at the resort’s own private lake. Beginners can take a fishing class to learn the basics, while pros can just enjoy the catch and release experience.
Community Hall
Looking for a quieter way to spend an afternoon? The casual meeting hall regularly hosts arts and crafts classes and events. Make sure to check the website before you go, or just ask a staff member what’s happening that day when you arrive. They’ll be happy to help.
The Spa at Disney’s Vero Beach Resort
There’s nothing better than a day at the spa while you’re on vacation. The onsite resort spa has a full menu of rejuvenating massages and services. Whether you’re looking for a quick treatment or a full day of wall-to-wall relaxation, you’ll find what you’re looking for. Services include massage therapies, facials, Vichy shower treatments, body therapies, luxurious lip, eye treatments, full spa packages, and waxes. They even have services specifically for kids and tweens so the kiddos can get in on the fun.
Delectable Dining
Half the fun of vacation is trying new foods. At Vero Beach Resort, finding the answer to “Where should we eat?” is always easy.
Wind & Waves Market
Swing by this grab-and-go market to find a light meal, snack, or grocery essentials to cook up something delicious in your room. Offerings include soft-serve ice cream, baked goods, sandwiches, burgers, salads, and sweets. For a quick dose of Disney magic, grab a Mickey whoopie pie!

There’s no better place to enjoy fresh seafood than right by the source. Enjoy artfully prepared seafood dishes at this charming, bistro-style beach spot. You will find great selections such as Shrimp and Grits or perhaps Roasted Salmon crusted in Crispy Bacon served with Braised Red Cabbage, and Horseradish Cream served with Spätzle. If you’re more of a landlubber, we suggest the Braised Short Rib served with Cheddar Grits, Honey-Glazed Carrots, and Haricot Vert. After the main course, be sure to finish with one of the resort’s delectable dessert selections like Bananas’ Foster Bread Pudding or Chocolate -Coconut Crème Brûlée.

It’s not a day at the pool without a cold drink in your hand, right? Luckily this poolside lounge is right there when you need it, offering up specialty cocktails to keep you cool while you bask in the sun.
