Orlando is known for its incredible year-round seasonal events, and one of the biggest events in Orlando this fall will be the SeaWorld Orlando Howl-O-Scream.

Howl-O-Scream is Central Florida’s newest Halloween event and is returning to SeaWorld Orlando for its third year. This haunted event will be a “screaming” good time for guests who dare to visit!

What is SeaWorld Orlando Howl-O-Scream?

Howl-O-Scream is a seasonal, scary, after-hours event full of Scare-Zones and Haunted Houses for older teens and adults. They have spooky specialty dining, drinks, attractions, and shows. This event is intended for mature audiences and does contain adult content such as violence, gore, and blood. (In other words, on a spectrum of Scooby Doo to Stephen King, this is on the Stephen King end!)

The theme of SeaWorld Orlando’s Howl-O-Scream 2023 is Sirens. Ghastly creatures from the depths of the sea, Sirens are known for their seductive allure. Tips to Enhance Your Experience

  • Bring Adults Only – SeaWorld Orlando’s Howl-O-Scream is an event geared towards adults and turns this fun, family-friendly park into a horror party at night. There will be blood, gore, and frights throughout the park that are not for kids or the faint of heart.
  • Visit on a Weekday – Weekends, especially Saturday nights, are the most crowded nights for Howl-O-Scream. You can find shorter wait times for lines and less of a crowd if you choose off-peak nights such as Thursday nights and Sunday nights.
  • Wear Comfortable Shoes – SeaWorld Orlando Howl-O-Scream covers most of the SeaWorld Orlando Park, and you will be on your feet for most of the night. Whether you are waiting in line or walking across the park, wearing comfortable shoes will ensure you have a good time and don’t leave early from blisters.
  • Don’t Leave Once You’re in The Park – There is no re-entry to SeaWorld Orlando’s Howl-O-Scream. Once you are in the park, you cannot get back in using your ticket if you exit.
  • No Boo Necklace – If you want to attend but don’t want to be too scared, purchase a “No Boo Necklace.” This necklace has a flashing light that informs creatures lurking in the Scare Zones to not scare you. These necklaces do not work in Haunted Houses, and the flash must be turned off while inside.
  • Purchase Tickets Early – Purchasing tickets early can save you up to 70% off regular admission prices. If you know you are going to be going, go ahead and purchase your tickets ASAP.
