Give the summer a proper send-off with SeaWorld Orlando’s Craft Beer Festival! Whether you’re making a toast to summer memories or looking forward to fall festivities, you can wash down your wishes with a tall glass of beer, wine, seltzer, or even a cocktail!

An annual event that encompasses all things alcohol, the Orlando Craft Beer Festival will tickle your taste buds and make your SeaWorld trip extra bubbly. In addition to drinks, several stations also offer specialty snacks, which guests of all ages can enjoy.

SeaWorld Orlando’s Craft Beer Festival

SeaWorld Orlando’s Craft Beer Festival is perfect for connoisseurs of fine drafts. With over 100 craft brews, wines, cocktails, and more, you’re sure to find a new favorite (or at least run into an old reliable). Along with this wide array of boozy delights, there are also 15+ specialty food items made to pair with whichever brew you like best.

Of course, you’ll be able to ride roller coasters, see animal shows, and enjoy everything SeaWorld has to offer, but the festival also promises to provide extra entertainment, too!

As of writing, we’re still waiting on further details for this year’s Craft Beer Festival, but we’ll tell you everything we know so far and make some educated predictions based on experience from past years. If the previous parties are anything to go by, then we’re in for tons of fun in 2023!

SeaWorld Craft Beer Festival Admissions

How do you get into the Craft Beer Festival? Simple – just go to SeaWorld!

Entering the park gives you access to all of the festivities! That being said, you still need to bring your wallet because each individual drink or snack item will cost you. While this might sound like a bit of a bummer, it does allow you to stick to a budget and spend only what you really want to. In some ways, this flexibility is actually pretty nice!

Sample Lanyard

However, if you’re really serious about sampling everything this SeaWorld Orlando festival has to offer…buying everything individually will add up faster than a dolphin can do a flip. Thankfully, SeaWorld has a way for dedicated samplers to save money – a sample lanyard!

In the past, both 12-sample and 8-sample lanyards were available for purchase, and we fully expect SeaWorld to offer this deal again. The 12-sample option was $70.00, and the 8-sample option was $55.00. While those prices are subject to change this year, they should hopefully give you a rough estimate of what to budget if you’re a bonafide beer drinker! (The sampling includes the specialty snacks, too!)

Samples are usually sold for $6.99 – $11.99 per item, but the sample lanyards bring that price to $6.22 – $7.33 per item, which is a much better deal if you’re planning to stop at multiple stations!

Happy Hour

Generally held at the end of summer, Beer Fest ushers in the wonderful season of fall. (I wonder if they’ll have a pumpkin-spiked latte on the menu??)

For 2023, the Orlando Craft Beer Festival will begin on July 28th and run through September 4th on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Gulps and goodies will be offered on these days starting at 12:00 p.m. and will be served until one hour before park closing.

Every hour spent in SeaWorld is a happy one, but Beer Fest makes them even happier hours!

While we wait for details about the 2023 Orlando Craft Beer Festival offerings, looking back at past menus can give us a pretty good idea of what to expect!

Dazzling Brews

While the EPCOT Food and Wine Festival focuses on international flavors, many of SeaWorld’s Beer Fest brews are locally (and deliciously!) crafted – some drinks are even produced right in Orlando!

From pale ales to piña coladas, flavors range from exquisitely bitter to sumptuously sweet. Ciders, daiquiris, margaritas, whiskeys, wines, lagers, and spiked lemonades have all made appearances on the extensive menu. In the past, some of the drinks have been specialty SeaWorld themed, such as “Manatee Margarita” or “Sea Star Strawberry Daiquiri.”

Of course, for little ones or for folks who don’t partake, SeaWorld always has their usual soft drinks available at quick service locations!

Delicious Chews

You’ll definitely want to try a bite or two at SeaWorld Orlando’s Craft Beer Festival! Although alcohol might be the main focus, these vendors also know how to cook!

Mouthwatering delights of the past that we hope to see again include crispy chicken pretzel-bun sliders, BBQ ribs, and birria pork tacos. (Surprisingly, several guests have lamented that SeaWorld isn’t that great at making seafood for this festival!) In the dessert department, you couldn’t beat last year’s beignets or boozy s’mores. Here’s hoping these sweet treats will make a triumphant return!

Other Things to Sea and Do

Because you’re at SeaWorld, you should definitely take the time to check out the park! Depending on when you choose to arrive, we’d recommend sneaking in some of those roller coasters before all of the taste testings begins! And it’s well worth catching the animal shows and strolling through exhibits in between bites!

In addition to SeaWorld’s usual attractions, there’s also the promise of “festive entertainment [that] will keep the party going all day long.” However, the exact nature of the entertainment has yet to be announced. (Though, if we had to take a bet, our money is on live music!) Whether it’s live music, scavenger hunts, or a dance party, we have full confidence in SeaWorld’s ability to host an absolute blast of a bash.
