Under the Sea (World)
Sharks Underwater Grill & Bar is undoubtedly one of the finest and most adventurous restaurants at SeaWorld Orlando. With large floor-to-ceiling windows that look into Shark Encounter, as well as smaller aquariums dispersed throughout the restaurant, stepping through into Sharks almost feels like diving into the ocean!
The large aquarium, which holds 700,000 gallons of water (talk about big!), spans the entire length of the restaurant, so no matter where you sit, you’ll have uninterrupted views of the water and the marine life that calls it home. You can chow down on your burger as sharks pass by mere inches from your table. Or sip on a glass of wine as the fish swim playfully nearby.
Be sure to keep an eye out for some of this SeaWorld Orlando aquarium’s most popular residents – its nurse sharks, sandbar sharks, and Atlantic blacktip sharks. If you’re lucky, you may even spot some of the more unique fish that inhabit the aquarium, such as the smalltooth sawfish (with its large saw-like nose) or the goliath grouper (a fish that weighs 400 pounds!). Don’t worry, though. You’re not likely to see any unsettling encounters during your meal – the sharks are fed regularly, so they don’t typically eat the fish!

Cocktails with a Cause
The drinks at Sharks not only taste delicious, but they also support great initiatives. Most of the alcohol purchased by the restaurant comes from suppliers who contribute to humanitarian and conservation efforts. With a variety of cocktails to choose from, you have the opportunity to support several different causes!
Interested in saving sea turtles? Then be sure to order a Tropical Turtle Hurricane. This cocktail, which includes hints of pineapple, passion fruit, and mango, is made using rum from Naked Turtle Rum – a company that donates funds to The Sea Turtle Conservancy for every bottle sold.
If your concern lies more with those who live on land, then be sure to check out the Sea Sangria. Made with fresh fruit and a variety of wines, this fruity drink helps support No Kid Hungry – an organization that connects kids with healthy meals.
Even the wine that they serve comes with a cause! You can try a glass (or a bottle!) of Proud Pour and support a variety of different organizations. Try the Pinot Noir for Bees to help expand bee farms in North America. Or the Rosé for Reefs to support the growth of new coral.
There’s also the Sauvignon Blanc Save the Ocean, which helps restore wild oyster populations. No matter which wine you choose, you can drink up guilt-free, knowing that you are making a difference by supporting a great cause!
Appealing Appetizers
As you sample the wine and cocktail selections, be sure to grab an appetizer to hold you over while you wait for your meal. Trust us when we say – you do not want to skip out on these starters! With a variety of cuisines to choose from, including Italian, Greek, and Mexican-inspired options, there’s something to satisfy everyone’s taste buds!
If you’re ready to jump right in and start with some seafood, we recommend giving their Lobster Rolls a try. Using freshly made lobster salad, this restaurant favorite is served on buttered rolls.
Looking from something a little lighter? Then order up their Caprese Salad. This Italian-inspired dish comes with sliced tomatoes and mozzarella cheese, drizzled with balsamic vinaigrette.
If you’re craving more of the local flavors, then be sure to check out their Coconut Chicken Tenders. Served with spicy Florida citrus marmalade, these tenders are sure to be a crowd-pleaser!
Mouthwatering Mains
The hardest part of your day may just be choosing which main dish to order. From fresh seafood to filet mignon and even bison burgers, it can certainly be difficult to pick just one – after all, they all sound delicious.
But if you happen to be a fan of shellfish, we recommend that you give the Tempura Shrimp a try. This dish includes lightly battered jumbo shrimp, served over Japanese sticky rice, with bok choy, mushrooms, carrots, and red peppers tossed in kalbi sesame glaze.
Salmon is another popular seafood dish. Topped with a lemon caper sauce and served with rice and vegetables, this is a great choice to consider if you’re looking for a nut and gluten-free option.
For those who prefer non-seafood options, be sure to check out the Chicken Mushroom. The sautéed chicken breast is covered with a creamy mushroom sauce and is served over pesto angel hair pasta with a side of vegetables.
There’s also a Caesar Salad for our vegetarians out there. This salad comes with freshly chopped romaine lettuce and traditional Caesar dressing. You also have the option to add chicken, shrimp, or salmon, if you want to spice things up a bit.

For a Florida-inspired dessert with a twist, give the Key Lime Martini Pie a try. This tangy and sweet pie is made with fresh key lime juice, crumbled graham crackers, and whipped cream.
For our chocolate lovers out there, we recommend the Cabernet Chocolate Cake. This moist chocolate cake is filled with a mascarpone buttercream and topped with a cabernet ganache.
And last but not least, we can’t forget the Brownie Sundae. Featuring a chocolate fudge brownie topped with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, hot fudge, and caramel sauce, this classic dessert is not to be missed!
